Desirable Attributes: This is a hybrid between Chinary Darjeeling clone AV2 and a garden clone (plains) TA17/1/54. It is fairly uniform in growth habit with medium sized leaf and shoot. The stock is moderately tolerant to drought and suitable for orthodox manufacture. It is suitable for high altitude areas like Darjeeling.
